Your Song Elton John

It's a little bit funny this feeling inside
I'm not one of those who can easily hide
I don't have much money but boy if I did
I'd buy a big house where we both could live

If I was a sculptor, but then again, no
Or a man who makes potions in a travelling show
I know it's not much but it's the best I can do
My gift is my song and this one's for you

And you can tell everybody this is your song
It may be quite simple but now that it's done
I hope you don't mind
I hope you don't mind that I put down in words
How wonderful life is while you're in the world

I sat on the roof and kicked off the moss
Well a few of the verses well they've got me quite cross
But the sun's been quite kind while I wrote this song
It's for people like you that keep it turned on

So excuse me forgetting but these things I do
You see I've forgotten if they're green or they're blue
Anyway the thing is what I really mean
Yours are the sweetest eyes I've ever seen

And you can tell everybody this is your song
It may be quite simple but now that it's done
I hope you don't mind
I hope you don't mind that I put down in words
How wonderful life is while you're in the world

I hope you don't mind
I hope you don't mind that I put down in words
How wonderful life is while you're in the world

I forgot when the first time I heard this song
But when I have time in class the teacher put this song when I suddenly felt very familiar, the melody sounds good
T
hen the teacher will introduce this song because the song was written by a gay
That lesson is to introduce the songs in English across Cultures

I really think this is nice melody song lyrics is not difficult
So i want to share with everyone

Jobs

(A)

But I naively chose a college
I had no idea what I wanted
None of this had even hope of any practical application in my life
I’m pretty sure none of this would have happen
Don’t settle
If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you’ll most certainly be right.
This was the closest I’ve been to facing death and I hope it’s the closest I get for a few more decades.

(B)

After I listen his speech, the most impress me is that

I’m convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did.
And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle/

Nowadays, not everyone can lucky to so what their love, including student’s major or kind of job. So more and more people do the job are not related to their major. They don’t know how why to learn that no interesting them, they even think they wasted their time to go to school. I think Jobs consider this situation so he dropped out of college.
I hope I can find what my love especially my future job. Do what I want. Fortunately, at least I like my major now because I want to be a successful businessman.

Comment
I think this web is good for English learner because you can listen to the native conversation(I like the kid voice it’s so cute) and after listening you can read and listen to the conversation at the same time again.
They also provide the Listening Exercises to test you.
And it classify to three levels including Easy Medium and Difficult. It is good for learner.

However I should spend more time to link this website, it is the only weakness about this web

Assignment2- Dictionaries

At first, I chose the Cambridge Dictionaries Online. The example sentences and definitions are not enough, so I change to Oxford Dictionaries Online. I like to use the Oxford because there are many example sentences and definitions that made me be realize the words better than Cambridge.

The difference between paper dictionaries and online dictionaries is that I needn’t look for the words from page to page; I just need type the words I want to know. The online dictionaries are very convenience and saving my time. The most important is that online dictionaries will update the new words much quicker than paper dictionaries.
